On February 17, 2025, Delta Air Lines Flight 4819, operated by Endeavor Air, crashed during its landing attempt at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Bombardier CRJ-900, carrying 76 passengers and four crew members, had departed from Minneapolis and was on a routine flight.
However, as it descended toward the runway at 2:15 p.m., the plane veered off course, flipped upside down, and slid along the icy runway before coming to a stop. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, with thick smoke rising from the wreckage.
